About KDSSF

The primary purpose of the Kansas Disc Sports Scholarship Foundation is to provide financial assistance to Kansas’ disc sports athletes in the form of a scholarship to a graduate of a Kansas High School for further education at a University, College, or Trade School located in the State of Kansas. The scholarship is awarded based on the individual’s Disc Sports merit, whether that is in Disc Golf, Ultimate, or some other form of flying disc play. Financial need is a secondary consideration.

The Kansas Disc Sport Scholarship Foundation is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization founded in 2004 to provide select disc sports players of all disciplines who were graduating from a Kansas High School with financial assistance to attend post-secondary institutions of higher learning within the state.

In 2015, the scholarship was opened up to existing college students with the ability to apply over multiple years. KDSSF is a 501c3 Organization. Our fundraising takes many forms. You can see a list of past KDSSF Scholarship Recipients here.
